Daniel set up Sorley Accountants to do things differently: to give every client the kind of straight-talking, reliable accounting that bigger firms reserve for their biggest clients. Known locally as "the Kirkham accountant", he built the practice on word of mouth — one happy business owner telling another.
As it grew, it stayed in the family. His mum Trish looks after new clients, his fiancée Toni runs operations, and Jordan keeps the day-to-day work moving. That means when you call, you reach someone who knows you — not a different account manager every quarter.

About working with us
Are you really a family business?
Yes. Sorley Accountants is run by Daniel along with his mum Trish, his fiancée Toni, and assistant Jordan. It's not a marketing line, it's who answers the phone.
Are you qualified and insured?
Daniel is AAT accredited and the practice is fully insured. We keep up to date with HMRC and Companies House rules so you don't have to.
What areas do you cover?
We're based on Whitehills Business Park in Blackpool and look after businesses across Preston, Kirkham, Wesham, Lytham St Annes and the wider Fylde Coast and Lancashire. A lot of our work is handled remotely, so distance is rarely an issue.
Do I have to switch in person?
No. Moving to us is straightforward and mostly done by email and phone. We handle the handover with your previous accountant and HMRC, so it's painless.
